Lawrence “Larry” Page is an American computer scientist and Internet entrepreneur who co-founded Google with Sergey Brin. Page is the inventor of PageRank, a well-known search ranking algorithm for Google. Page received the Marconi Prize in 2004 with Brin.

Narendra Modi is an Indian politician serving as the 14th and current Prime Minister of India since 2014. He was the Chief Ministerof Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, and is the Member of Parliament for Varanasi. Modi is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist volunteer organisation.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Bezos is an American technology entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. He is the founder, chairman, CEO, and president of Amazon. Bezos added to his business interests when he founded aerospace company Blue Origin in 2000. A Blue Origin test flight successfully first reached space in 2015, and Blue has plans to begin commercial suborbital human spaceflight in 2019. He purchased The Washington Post in 2013 for US$250 million in cash.

Angela Merkel is a German politician serving as Chancellor of Germany since 2005. She served as the leader of the centre-right Christian Democratic Union (CDU) from 2000 to 2018. Merkel has been widely described as the de facto leader of the European Union, the most powerful woman in the world, and by many commentators as the leader of the Free World.
